Now, Tamil TV actress VJ Chitra has been found dead at a Chennai hotel where she was residing. As per the reports, she was found hanging at a five-star hotel in Nazarethpettai, Chennai. VJ Chitra was a renowned actress and was famously known for the TV's Pandian Stores series.

As per the reports, the 28 years old actress returned after finishing her shooting at EVP film city on Wednesday (night) at 2:30 a.m. She was residing with her fiancee Hemanth and as per his police statement, Chitra came back from her shoot and told him that she is going for a bath but when she didn't come out, Hemanth asked the hotel staff to open the door with a duplicate key. When they opened the door she was found hanging with the ceiling fan.

Meanwhile, Nazarethpettai Police is still investigating the case and sent her body for autopsy. For now police are ascertaining all the aspects behind her death.
