Neetu Kapoor, who was rumoured to be tested positive for COVID-19, recently confirmed the news of her coronavirus test. The actress took it to Instagram and shared a long note for her fans confirming that she has tested positive for the virus.

Neetu Kapoor was in Chandigarh, shooting for her upcoming film 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' with Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan but had to return to Mumbai after she and Varun Dhawan tested Covid positive. In her note, Neetu said that she has been taking full precautions in her quarantine period and is feeling much better. She also urged the fans to stay safe and wear a mask.

Here is what Neetu Kapoor wrote, "Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid- 19.
All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. Meanwhile, on the work front, Jug Jug Jeeyo will be Neetu Kapoor's first film after the demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor. Neetu will be seen with Anil Kapoor for the first time in this film. Jug Jug Jeeyo is a romantic comedy that revolves around the lives of two couples of different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil and Neetu. The situational comedy, spun around a North Indian family promises to be a riot, with the older couple's strained relationship bringing lots of laughs.

The team had kick-off the shoot in Chandigarh but got postponed due to the COVID results of Varun and Neetu. However, the team will soon resume the shooting once everything comes back to normal.
