'Chupke Chupke' is highly remembered for Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan's comic act which came in the same year when the all-time blockbuster 'Sholay' was released. Now, in the festive season of remakes, Luv Ranjan has decided to remake the 1975 cult comedy film, 'Chupke Chupke'. In the film, the maker eagerly wants to cast Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao. Luv is considering Vicky Kaushal in the portrayal of Amitabh Bachchan's character and Rajkummar in Dharmendra's character.
For now, it hasn't been officially confirmed but around the corners, it is stated that the filmmaker is serious about the project. Earlier it was rumored that he will cast Ayushmann Khurrana alongside Rajkummar but nothing has been planned by Ranjan on it. If rumors are true then Vicky and Rajkummar will share the screen for the first time in a comedy flick.
Currently, Vicky is busy with the YRF's next social-comedy film along with side debut Manushi Chhillar. On the other side, Rajkummar is buckling up for his next venture 'Badhai Do' opposite Bhumi Pednekar in which he will play the role of a male police officer in a Mahila thana. Apart from this, he has also a remake of Telugu cop thriller HIT.
