Science is the teaching of evolution in schools but still passing a statement on religion, hurts the religious sentiments of people. A similar act has been done by Saif Ali Khan who passed a controversial statement on Raavana while calling, that they will make him humane and justify his abduction of Sita and war with Lord Rama in the film Adipurush. Well, in the exhilaration, Saif said a bit and now he has to deal with the situation as a case has been filed in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

As per the petition, the petitioner mentioned that he has deep faith in 'Sanatan Dharma' and Lord Ram has been considered a symbol of good and Raavana, a symbol of evil. Now, the ACJM court has fixed December 23, as the next date of hearing in the case. Himanshu Srivastava, a civil court advocate, has given an application through advocate Upendra Vikram Singh under section 156 (3). Along with petitioner witnesses Ajit Singh, Vinod Srivastava, Brijesh Nishad, Nilesh Nishad, Surya Prakash Singh, and Vivek Tiwari are also hurt by the actor's statement.

Well, in an interview with a leading portal, Saif Ali Khan said, `It's interesting to play a demon king, less strictures in that. But we will make him humane, up the entertainment quotient, justify his abduction of Sita and the war with Ram as revenge for what was done to his sister Surpanakha by Lakshman, who cut off his nose.` Later on, the actor apologized and withdrew his statement after the controversy. But it seems like it's not easy for the actor to get rid of his statement.

Talking about the film, 'Adipurush', helmed by Om Raut who is well-known for directing 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior'. In the adaptation of Indian sacred text Ramayana, Prabhas will play the role of Lord Rama, on the other side Saif Ali Khan will portray the antagonist King Lankesh. The film will go on floors in January 2021 and will hit the cinema halls in 2022.
