Jug Jugg Jeeyo shooting was halted when Varun Dhawan, Neetu and Maniesh Paul tested positive for the Coronavirus. Now, the actors are recovered from the virus and all set to resume the shooting in Chandigarh. In November the entire cast and crew flew to Chandigarh to kick-off the filming but had to come back to Mumbai. Prajakta Koli has also joined the cast in the city who is debuting with Jug Jug Jeeyo.

According to the reports, the actors have been recovered from the COVID-19 and all set to resume filming in Chandigarh from December 19. Varun Dhawan has also recovered but he hasn't announced the news officially as he has posted several pictures of him taking a good diet and even started Yoga. On the other side, Kiara Advani is also ready to fly to the city beautiful. Earlier it was stated that Anil Kapoor has also tested positive but he officially announced the news of his being negative for Coronavirus.

More about Jug Jugg Jeeyo then, in the film Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan are portraying the role of a married couple and Neetu Singh and Anil Kapoor are playing the roles of their in-laws. The film is presented by Dharma Production and under the direction of Raj Mehta, the film will surely hit the audience with hilarious moments and giggles. The film will hit the cinema halls in 2021.
