Now, South superstar Dhanush has bagged a pivotal role in this big venture. Well, with the official announcement, The Gray Man is going to be Dhanush's next Hollywood project after 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir', which was released in 2018. Apart from him, the film also features Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura and Julia Butters.

Netflix's most expensive project will be directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, who are best known for directing 'Avengers: Infinity War' & 'Avengers: Endgame'. In the July month, Chris Evans who is also going to play the protagonist in the film also shared the screenshot of the media report on his Instagram feed and wrote, "Been excited about this one for a while! Round 5 with@therussobrothers."
The film will be based on the 2009 Mark Greaney novel 'The Gray Man' that introduced the Gray Man, a freelance assassin and former CIA operative named Court Gentry. As per the novel storyline, it follows the life of Gentry who is on a mission across Europe to rescue his handler, Sir Donald Fitzroy, and his family in Normandy. The film is expected to go on floors next year.
