Now, the film is shifted for the 2021 release as being one of the most-anticipated films of the year, the fans are waiting for the film's trailer announcement. But now, the maker Prashanth Neel shared the teaser announcement date which will be released on January 8, 2021, at 10:18 a.m. Well, the day is more special for Yash as it is his birthday.

Prashanth Neel shared a new look of Yash from the 'KGF: Chapter 2' on Instagram. In the poster, the actor can be seen sitting on a gold throne with a fireplace on the backdrop and can be seen in an intense and dashing avatar. 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' is an upcoming multi-lingual Pan-India project directed by Prashanth Neel. A sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1, the film stars Yash in the lead reprising his role from the first film and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist Adheera. The film was supposed to hit the theatres in October 2020, however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt's health issues. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages. Will hit the theatres in 2021.
