After the super success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor marked his distinctive presence in the tinsel town. Focusing more on his career, the actor is doing one project at one time. Recently, he wrapped-up the Jersey shoot and also announced the news on social media. With this, Shahid Kapoor is also all set to mark his debut with Raj and DK's directorial web-series. It is not the first time the directors are debuting on the OTT platform as before this, they have collaborated for Amazon Prime's series 'The Family Man' starring Manoj Bajpai in the main lead.

With time, digital platforms are getting more attention from the audience and amid the pandemic, Shahid has also released the importance of streaming service. Well, the venture is going to be an action-pack thriller and now as per the reports, Raj & DK has roped South star Vijay Sethupathi for a key role alongside Shahid Kapoor. It has been stated that the directors were looking for an actor who can stand besides Shahid.

Well, if reports are true, then it will be Vijay's digital debut on the streaming service. As earlier the actor was set to mark his debut with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha but he backed out from the project due to certain reasons. Other reports are also suggesting that Vijay Sethupathi is set to play a key role in Santosh Sivan's Hindi remake of Tamil action-thriller 'Maanagaram'.

On the other hand, Raj and DK have locked the South film industry's actress Malavika Mohanan opposite Shahid Kapoor. Malavika Mohanan has predominantly worked in Malayalam language films and also appeared in Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada language films. She won critical acclaim after appearing in Majid Majidi's drama film, Beyond the Clouds(2017), portraying a dweller of Mumbai's dhobi ghat area.

All in all, the web-series shooting will begin in January 2021 and if everything is according to the floating rumors then we can see Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi all together.
