Soon after the rocking premiere of 'Shootout At Lokhandwala', reel life Maya Dolas, Vivek Oberoi, had to rush to catch a flight to New York for a performance at the
Bollywood Award function, aptly titled 'Shootout in New York'.
Going onstage at the Big Apple was a first for the actor so that made up for missing the applause
back home for his performance in producer Sanjay Gupta's film.
At the function, sporting an outfit designed by Punit Singh, Vivek put up a 15-minute dance sequence, choreographed by Pappu-Mallu, set to tracks from his films, including
the forthcoming 'Fool And Final'.
'Shootout...' received good response across the country with an 85 per cent opening, the highest so far this year.
The crowd at the film's premiere cheered when
the actor walked in. 'Shootout...' is the third film in which Vivek plays a gangster. With such results at the box-office the star sure won't mind more gun fights on screen.
