Rakul shared a long note on Twitter and informed that the actress has quarantined herself and will take care of her health so that she can come back and kick-off the shoot again. She also urged the people who came in her contact to get themselves tested as soon as possible. Here is what she wrote," I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and Please stay safe"

Earlier, Bollywood stars like Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon were also tested positive for the virus all are fine now.
Meanwhile, talking about Mayday, the film is being directed by Ajay Devgn who will also be seen acting in this film. This will be Ajay's third project as a director after films like 'U Me Aur Hum' and Shivaay. Actress Angira Dhar, who was spotted in films like Love Per Square Foot and Commando has also been roped in for playing a pivotal role in this thriller-drama film.
The film will be releasing on 29 April 2022.
