Actor Saanand Verma is known for his versatility and we have seen him in films like Mardaani, Raid, Pataakha, Chhichhore. However, the actor has a lot more for his fans.

Talking about his future project, he says, `I have done a movie called Helmet. It has been produced by Dino Morea and it's his debut production. It stars Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. I play a very interesting character of a chemist. The film is all about adopting the contraceptive method of family planning. People in this country are very hesitant when it comes to going to a chemist shop and buying a condom or any contraceptive pill. They feel very ashamed to buy it. The chemist also gives them a hard time when they try to do so. My role is not very long but it is very interesting. I hope that the film releases this year only. I am also part of the web series Apharan 2. The first part, by Alt Balaji, was amazing and I got a lot of acolytes, awards for my role. I played the character of Dubey ji and it was a hit. My dialogue, 'Who is your daddy?' became so popular that Balaji made a different show called, 'Who is Your Daddy' it's a very big achievement for me. It is spicier and funny and so is Apharan 2!`

Speaking about his love for films he says,` "I enjoy doing films more, there is no comparison of films with the web or TV. Though I don't deny that working in TV or web is also amazing, if someday I am offered one movie by Rajkumar Hirani, then I would love to do that and would leave anything for that film," he added. But what kind of roles would you love to do? "I love negative characters with some comical nuances. I aspire to do such roles. Positive roles are also good, but as an actor, I would prefer to do a negative character with a comical touch," the "Sacred Games" actor said. Saanand is also part of Rajkumar Rao and Kriti Sanon's next untitled film directed by Abhishek Jain.
