Madhur Bhandarkar's India Lockdown is inspired by a true event and the project will be produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures. The film will go on the floors in January 2021. Although nothing has been confirmed on the star cast but soon the maker will announce the same.
Recently, Madhur was seen attending the Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards along with Jaideep Ahlawat, Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tripti Dimri, Amit Sadh and other celebrities. On the other side, recently, the maker went into a controversy with Karan Johar when Bhandarkar claimed that Johar blatantly tweaked and misused the title of his Netflix's project Bollywood Wives. After the incident, Karan Johar had apologized to the filmmaker over the controversy.
