And interestingly the film produced by Tito will be shot close to the internationally acclaimed Assamese filmmaker's home ground – Shillong, which has been rightly termed the ‘Scotland of the East'.
"Regarding the film, there are a lot of things still in the pipe line. But I am happy to showcase the beauty of the North East through this film", says the media shy Baruah.
At a media conference jointly organized by Navjeevan Films and the Meghalaya tourism department it was confirmed that Smit village in East Khasi Hills district has been finalised as the shooting destination.
Preity Zinta and Shiney Ahuja will be part of the 20 day Shillong shoot. Apart from the North Eastern hill station, the film will also be shot in Mumbai and Kolkata.
‘Har Pal' has another Assamese connection in the form of model- actress Dipannita Sharma who also plays a character in the film.
There are reports that Amitabh Bachchan will also make an appearance in the film and if everything goes well, he too will be a part of the Shillong Shoot. - Sneha Hazarika
