Alia Bhatt's 'RRR' co-star Ram Charan tests positive for COVID-19!
In December, Telugu actor Ram Charan began shooting for S.S Rajamouli's period drama 'RRR' alongside Jr NTR. Recently, Alia Bhatt who is portraying the role of Sita in the epic venture had also joined the star cast in Hyderabad, although she is back to the tinsel town. But now, Ram Charan, through his social media, declared that he is tested positive for COVID-19. He also revealed in the Twitter statement that he is asymptomatic and is currently quarantined at home and hopes to heal soon.

On Tuesday morning, Ram Charan took to Twitter and wrote, "I have tested positive for COVID-19. No symptoms and quarantined and home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger. Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon." Check out his tweet here -



More about SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film, RRR (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram), the film features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Where Jr NTR will portray the role of Komaram Bheem, on the other side, Ram Charan will play Alluri Sitarama Raju. The action drama also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Apart from them, Rajamouli has also roped international names like Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. Aamir Khan will also give his voice for the Hindi dubbed version of RRR as narrator. The film is scheduled to release in 2021.
