On Monday, Simmba completed its two years of release, and to make the day special, Ranveer celebrated the occasion with Rohit Shetty on the sets of Cirkus. The film is quite close to his heart as Simmba is the third installment of Shetty's Cop Universe film franchise and because of this film, Ranveer enters into Rohit's cop universe.

Ranveer Singh shared a BTS picture from the sets of 'Cirkus' on Instagram in which he can be seen doing jumping jack action and director Rohit is sitting next to him while holding a handheld radio. "Cirkus ke set pe Simmba 2 ki fielding! 😆@itsrohitshetty #behindthescenes #2yearsofsimmba," the actor captioned the post. Rohit Shetty's comedy film 'Cirkus' features an eclectic star cast which includes Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma. In the film, Ranveer Singh will play a double role opposite Pooja Hegde & Jacqueline Fernandez and it is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play 'The Comedy Of Errors'. The film is all set to hit the cinema halls in 2021.
