AJAY Devgan is a man of his word. Ajay had promised Aseem if he turned director he would hire him as a cinematographer during the making of Zameen and later Golmaal, being so impressed by the work he saw.

Ajay has kept his word, ignoring feelers from many leading technicians. Aseem is hired for his romantic film, U, Me and Hum starring himself and wife Kajol.

The film is being shot on Panavision a format that Aseem had experimented with while shooting S Ramachandran's music video with Asha Bhosle and Urmila Matondkar.

Also lies behind him the legacy of his grandfather Khemchand Prakash who apparently is one of Ashajis favourite music directors.

Aseem has some really good films to his credit and ajay wont be disappointed with the outcome for sure. Aseem has earlier shot his wife Leena Yadav's film Shabd as well as the Anant Balani-started and Sudhir Mishra-completed film Chameli. He also did Mishra's Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi.
