The healer adds that the year has also made us realise the value of a family. `The lockdown brought us together as families as we had no option but to spend time with family, living with limited means and, above all, caring for each other when sick. This was the most precious learning for me. In the whirlwind of day -to-day life family should be a priority as they are our true happiness,` she says.
Of course, financially this year was challenging. `Economically, this year, we saw a lot of giants fall and overall, it has been tough for most people. This has certainly taught us the importance of savings and gratitude. Grateful for being employed during this phase, grateful for the kind deeds people did in supporting each other and the relevance of focusing on basic necessities rather than an extravagant lifestyle,` she says.
Amiben urges people to remember these learnings. `My message for 2021 is to take the learnings of 2020 to your heart even after the pandemic is over. Remember to love yourself and be fit, remember to prioritise your family and most of all, remember to be kind and grateful for life!` she says.
