Bhumi Pednekar and Seema Pahwa have worked together in several films and helmed the roles of mother-daughter on screen. In films such as Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Bala, the actresses shared the screens and were praised by the audience for their top-notch acting skills. Now, Seema Pahwa is making her directorial debut with 'Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi'  which is a satirical family drama and all set to hit the theatres on new year. Bhumi has also given a shout-out for her first directorial film on social media and called the film full of endearing characters and heart touching realism concepts.

Bhumi Pednekar shared the 'Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi' poster on Instagram and wrote about Seema Pahwa and also urged fans to watch the film in cinema halls. She captioned the post, "Dearest Seema Ma'am, I'm so so ecstatic about your first film as a director :) It's hitting theatres tomorrow and it's such a proud feeling. I remember watching it and feeling, I wish I could have been a part of this beautiful world, full of such endearing characters and heart touching realism ❤️ All the best to entire cast and crew. Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi is a family drama film directed by Seema Pahwa and produced by Jio Studios and Drishyam Films. The film stars an ensemble cast of Konkona Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Vinay Pathak, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, Vikrant Massey, Manoj Pahwa, Vineet Kumar and Manoj Pahwa. The film premiered at the Mumbai Film Festival on 17 October 2019 and is now scheduled to release theatrically on 1 January 2021.
