Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao have kicked-off the shooting of Badhai Do in Dehradun. The actress have already shared some glimpses of the film's Muhurat shots on social media. Now, Bhumi took to her photo-sharing app and introduced her co-star Shardul aka Rajkummar Rao and also revealed his new look for the film. She also informed her fans that the film will hit the cinema halls in 2021 when the COVID-19 situation will be clear.

Bhumi Pednekar shared BTS pictures from the 'Badhai Do' film sets on Instagram. In the first picture, she can be seen posing with Rajkummar while holding a clapper board, and in the second snap, they both clicked themselves with director Harshvardhan Kulkarni. She captioned the post, "Shuru ho gai hai hamari kahani, Jahan hai dono Raja aur Rani, Shardul Aur Sumi hai ekdam pyaare, Yeh dono hai situation ke maare, Milenge hum aapse jald, Ho jayega tab sab clear aur tab hum kahengey, #BadhaaiDo #2021." Harshvardhan Kulkarni's comedy-drama film stars Bhumi Pednekar & Rajkummar Rao. The film is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Badhai Ho' (2018). The film's first part was helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, and Sanya Malhotra in the key roles. Badhai Ho was a massive hit at the box-office and was much-liked by the critics too.
