Actress Aanushka Ramesh, who will soon be seen in "Mangal Ho", says she is grateful for having survived 2020 and is looking forward to a brand new and revamped 2021. She said, "2021 has finally arrived. I think the entire 2020 passed by in a daze for most of us. The energies already feel different and more positive and I hope to work with a renewed enthusiasm and focus on my goals with dedication."

She also intends to focus on herself more rather than just running behind success and fame. Speaking on the same, she said, "I do think that success and fame are very important and everyone is chasing them, but I also believe that rather than running after fame and success if you focus on doing what you are doing to the best of your abilities and being the best that you can be then success and fame will automatically follow you."

Aanushka is best known for playing Sona in the Punjabi film `Canada Di Flight`. She revealed that her journey in the entertainment industry has taught her that with the right kind of focus, dedication, determination, and patience anything can be achieved. "Also, I've learned that even though it looks very glamorous and easy, there is a lot of hard work involved in being an actor. But the love and passion for the craft makes it all seem easy and that's one thing common in all good actors," she added.

The young actress also spoke about digitalisation in the industry and called it "inevitable". She added, "With OTT platforms the advantage is that we are exposed to great content, both nationally and internationally. Actors have far greater opportunities on YouTube, etc., and if you have a talent there is a platform for you to showcase it with much more ease and accessibility now."

However, she asserted that one should work in the medium that gives maximum exposure to their talent.

She said, "I think instead of focusing on the many mediums and platforms one should focus on their core strengths and see where that can be highlighted in the best way possible and work accordingly."

Sharing her 2021 wishlist, Aanushka said, "I am targeting projects where I get to explore different characters, especially those which are in contrast with my real personality as I find such characters exciting. I'm looking at films, web content, and music videos with qualitative people where I also get to learn and enhance my skills. I'm especially excited about doing action roles."
