Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is known for directing Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Pink' which received accolades from film critics and movie lovers alike. He even received National Awards for the film and usually made movies on important societal themes. He encourages his enthralling fans to think about various issues. Now, the director is returning with a new social drama project Faraar which will star Yami Gautam in the lead role.

As per the reports, the film will revolve around nowadays media and crime journalism and expected to go on the floors in the mid-2021. Rightnow, Yami Gautam is shooting for her next horror-comedy venture 'Bhoot Police' alongside Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez in Rajasthan

Although the actress is on board but hasn't signed the project yet, she read the script and is willing to kick-off the shoot as soon as possible.

On the other side, Yami Gautam is busy with her film projects and keeps on sharing pictures and videos from the film sets on social media.
