On December 29, 2020, Ram Charan informed his fans that he has tested COVID-19 positive and was quarantined at his home. He even asked his friends and people to get tested for the virus. Now after weeks, the actor has tested negative for the Coronavirus and shared the news on social media with fans. With this, he is all set to resume the shoot of S.S Rajamouli's period drama 'RRR' as due to contraction with the virus, his shoot was halted.

Ram Charan shared pictures on Instagram featuring Scarlet Macaw on his shoulder while donning a white kurta. He wrote, "Tested negative! I'm back in action 💪." Reacting on the same, fans dropped heart emojis and wished him a stroke of luck. Check out his post here -

More about his upcoming project with SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' (Roudram Ranam Rudhiram), the film features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Where Jr NTR will portray the role of Komaram Bheem, on the other side, Ram Charan will play Alluri Sitarama Raju. The action drama also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Apart from them, Rajamouli has also roped international names like Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. Aamir Khan will also give his voice for the Hindi dubbed version of RRR as narrator. The film is scheduled to release in 2021.
