Esha Deol has decided to grow up and stop depending on mama Hema Malini. Do we smell a family rift there? "What rubbish," she thunders. "My mom`s busy, and I have to grow up some day."
Indeed. What has set Esha thinking is the negative advance reports surrounding her forthcoming film, Naa Tum Jaano Na Hum, co-starring Hrithik Roshan. Both Esha and Hrithik are believed to be upset that their on-screen chemistry isn`t being hailed as hot and happening. So does Esha turn to `good friend` Aftab Shivdasani for solace? She doesn`t. By now she has enough friends in the industry who "don`t treat me like another Deol kid" and give her the respect she deserves as an individual. Tusshar Kapoor is one of them.
It is on Jeetendra`s son`s advice that Esha has turned choosy about her films. She has now decided to listen to a script in detail before signing a film. Her move hasn`t come a day too soon.
