Actress Payal Rohatgi was recently at Hotel Intercontinetal in Delhi for her upcoming movie ‘Dhol'. After winning the Femina Miss India contest in the year 2000, Payal
Rohatgi entered the film industry.
Basically, Payal is a computer engineer though she got attracted to the glamour world after winning the Miss India
Pageant.
Payal is very much excited over her ‘Dhol' and says that she is playing second lead role in the movie directed by Priyadarshan.
"It was a great experience to work
with Priyadarshan. It was also a very good experience to work with people like Shamran Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Tanushree Dutta and Rajpal Yadav in this
film. I can say that this movie is going to be a mile stone in my film career," exudes Payal.
The film will be out in the cinema halls this month.
Talking about her entry into Bollywood, Payal says that she started getting offers from directors when she appeared in the Mahesh Manjrekar's video album ‘Humko Pura
Yakeen Hai'. After this, she never saw a dip in her career graph.
Payal has worked with renowned directors of the industry and appeared in movies like ‘Ye Kya Ho
Raha Hai', ‘Plan', ‘Rakht' and ‘Corporate'. Apart from these, she also appeared in showman Subhash Ghai's film ‘36 China Town'.
Actually, Payal started her career with ad films. She did endorsements for Bajaj, N.C, Britaniya, Nescafe, Jagwar, Dabar with cricketer Sehwag and she also accompanied
mega star Amitabh Bachachan in a Cadbury Temptation ad.
