We hear that many big filmmakers are now trying to lure the producers of Ek Mini Katha to sell them the rights for its remake in multiple languages.
The film has been produced by UV Concepts, the subsidiary of the renowned production house, UV Creations which has given us some major Pan-Indian hit films over the years. As the name suggests, UV Concepts has been established for making smaller budget films but with a unique and strong concept.
UV concepts is the newly launched subsidiary that has proven itself with its very first project, Ek Mini Katha for which they chose to work with the more new and upcoming talents including a debut director, Kathik Ropalu and actors like Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar in the leads.
Their film had a unique storyline following a light hearted tale of a man who believes the size of their phallus matters. From the actors to the director, everyone was applauded for doing such a great job with bold content and still keeping it decent, humorous and entertaining for all. The film has proven as a turning point in their career for its lead cast, with the kind of appreciation it won them.
A source close to the film revealed, "The producers of Ek Mini Katha have been offered major monies from filmmakers of multiple languages against the rights to remake the film for a larger audience. The film has a unique storyline, and is a light-hearted tale exploring a taboo topic which is quite interesting.`
