Living up to the title, SonyLIV's new-age web show 'Chutzpah' that marks the OTT debut of Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Outsider, showcases the relevance of internet and social media in everyone's life, especially youth.  Featuring Gen-X popular actors Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Gautam Mehra, Tanya Maniktala, Elnaaz Norouzi and Kshitij Chauhan amongst others, 'Chutzpah' gives a sneak peak into the digital transformation of human identity in today's era.  

The USP of 'Chutzpah' is its never-heard-before concept in the digital world, as it talks about the duality that exists in the real and social world. One may have a different approach or thought process towards people in person but they project a completely different world to others on social media. The show highlights the good and bad of the web world and anonymity it provides, with people getting to know their type and finding empathy at the same time, also absolving them some sense of responsibility. The show brings to fore what today's generation lives every waking moment of life with the internet!  

Produced by Diensh Vijan, the show has been written by Amit Babbar and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Simarpreet Singh has directed the show and the concept is credited to Amit Babbar.

`The show is very close to me for a lot of reasons. Firstly, I am making my OTT debut with SonyLIV and also the fact that I have had a long association with Mrighdeep Lamba and Dinesh Vijan. Hence collaborating with them again was like homecoming. The story is very relatable and we thoroughly enjoyed the process of shooting the series.`
