Seems like Raj Kundra is in big trouble as with each passing day, the businessman is becoming the kingpin in the alleged phonography case. Now, with the recent development, it has been stated that Raj has bribed Rs 25 lakh to Mumbai Police officers to evade the arrest. The information has been received by the Anti Corruption Bureau from Yash Thakur, who is also an accused in the case. Yash sent four emails to ACB with detailed information about the Raj's bribe act. He also revealed that the police officer also demanded a huge amount from him.

The official Twitter handle of ANI tweeted, "Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB), Maharashtra received 4 e-mails from Yash Thakur, an accused in pornography case, where he made allegations that Shilpa Shetty's husband & businessman Raj Kundra has bribed Mumbai police officers with Rs 25 lakhs to evade arrest: ACB official. Similar amount was demanded from Yash Thakur to not arrest him. His allegations of seeking bribe from him & against Raj Kundra bribing to evade arrest were quite vague in nature & that's why the same emails were forwarded to Mumbai police for further action on April 30: ACB official." Well, on July 19, Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in production of porn films. Later, he was sent to police custody till July 23. Reportedly, the crime branch has raided his house and has recovered 70 videos shot by Kundra's former PA Umesh Kamat. Raj Kundra has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of IPC besides other sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
