Is Deepika Padukone on her way to being the next In girl in Bollywood, even before her first sighting on screen?

Considering Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan being her debut film, she has moved leaps and bounds grabbing Siddharth Anand's next for Yash Raj Films and is next in line to be featured opposite Hrithik Roshan after Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra in Krrish's sequel.

Speculations had it that Priyanka Chopra would once again be considered for the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish. But apparently Deepika has bagged the much sought-after role opposite Hrithik.

Considering that both the earlier films have been A-league projects this project is sure to further sky rocket Deepika's career being a newcomer and bagging this projects when Preity and Priyanka, were selected for Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish respectively after they had proved their mettle over the years.

Deepika's news comes as a surprise as she doesn't have a single film release to her credit so far.

Deepika hasn't received any confirmation from the Roshans yet eventhiough A source says that it is confirmed that Deepika Padukone has been finalised for Krrish's sequel opposite Hrithik.

The Roshans are still working on their script, it's decided that the film will be shot extensively in foreign locations."
