Heartathon: A Run to Support Children Battling with Congenital Heart Disease" was a heartwarming initiative spearheaded by the Outreach Club of Mahindra University, in collaboration with the Mahesh Babu Foundation (MB Foundation). On March 16th, approximately 300 individuals participated in the event, running either a 3 km or a 5 km route around the outer track of KBR Park.

The event offered two distinct paths, a 3 km and a 5 km route, catering to participants of varying fitness levels. Notably, separate categories for girls and boys ensured equal opportunities for all, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the event.

Namrata Shirodkar, the co-founder of the MB Foundation, graced the occasion and personally felicitated the winners during the awards ceremony. She expressed gratitude to all the participants for their support and dedication to the cause.

Founded by renowned actor Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata Shirodkar, the MB Foundation is committed to various social causes, with a special focus on healthcare initiatives for children. MB Foundation and the Outreach Club's collective effort not only showcased their commitment to assisting children battling congenital heart disease but also highlighted the power of community solidarity in driving positive change.

Sponsors like Anvi, FoodSutra, Country Delight, and SBI provided invaluable support, ensuring that participants received essential resources and refreshments, making the event a resounding success.

In essence, "Heartathon" exemplified the collaborative spirit between the Outreach Club and the Mahesh Babu Foundation, demonstrating their shared dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of children battling congenital heart disease, and underscoring the Foundation's broader commitment to social welfare initiatives.
