Shefali Bagga is no stranger to the hosting and sporting field, but also a trending name in the world of cricket, hosting back to back popular leagues. The gorgeous host recently got to experience one of her biggest events yet as she hosted the IPL 2024 opening ceremony. The star-studded ceremony saw performances by mavericks including AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, amongst others. And Shefali calls it a surreal experience.

The event marked Shefali's return to the IPL as she previously hosted in the 2020 edition too, and since then, she has been covering many cricket and sports leagues. Talking about her experience of hosting IPL 2024, she shares, `Seeing so many cricketing legends in person like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and all coming together to celebrate cricket in unity was an experience of a lifetime. It felt great that I got to introduce some of the biggest legends of cricket as well as the entertainment industry. I can still hear the roar of the crowd echo in my ear. It is something I can never forget.`

Shefali became a household name after her stint in 'Bigg Boss 13', and since then, she has been shining in the world of anchoring and her sports connection has just gotten stronger. She even has a unique experience to recall, `A fan of mine from Oman proposed to me on the ground, and the video of it went viral.` Shefali is growing leaps and bounds and her work speaks for itself.
