To prepare for her role, Khossla has been immersing herself in South Indian films to understand the culture and is taking Telugu lessons to perfect her dialect, which is "integral" to the film. "This collaboration is a wonderful move for films in our country. Prerna Arora has been instrumental right from roping in one of the biggest directors in the South film industry Suresh Krissna sir to bringing Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani on board and putting this entire project together. We have a great ensemble cast in the film, which is a complete family drama," says Divya Khossla.
Speaking about what her role in Hero Heeroine entails, Divya Khossla adds, `I'm extremely excited to pull off the role of an aspiring actor in the Telugu film industry. I'm also working on my dialect to ace the dialogues and their delivery. I'm also excited for all the new looks and avatars you'll get to see me in soon. I hope the Telugu film industry is proud of us as this film is like a homage to them.` The actor's recent film, Savi, is currently running successfully in theatres.
