Aamir Khan, as we all know, is a difficult person to please. So Preity Zinta was thrilled to bits when she was told how highly he thinks of her.

Aamir`s admiration for Preity is not just restricted to her being a "wonderful person." He also believes that given a good script, "she could excel as an actress too." That sure is a rare compliment from the fastidious Khan. A pleased Preity called up Aamir to thank him.

But Preity would not like to emulate him. In her words, "he is too much of a stickler to be followed as a role model." What has probably disturbed the Rajput actress is Aamir`s meticulous planning for his next film which would go on the floors next January for an early 2004 release. Now who can afford to wait till then?
