Actress Trisha Krishnan, renowned for her versatile performances in Indian cinema, is set to make her OTT series debut with 'Brinda'. She recently revealed what captivated her about the project, leading her to take on this new venture.

In 'Brinda', Trisha portrays a police officer, a role she has never tackled before. This novel experience was a significant factor in her decision to join the series.

Trisha shared an intriguing anecdote about how she came across the script. "Surya had sent me his script to read, and when I was on a flight, I decided to give it a look. I intended to read just a few pages, but I was drawn into the story from the very first chapter. The rest, as they say, is history," she explained. This immediate connection to the story was pivotal in her decision-making process.

'Brinda' boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Indrajith Sukumaran, Jaya Prakash, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anand Sami, and Rakendu Mouli, among others. The series weaves elements of drama, crime, and mystery, promising an enthralling viewing experience for audiences.

The series features a screenplay by Surya Manoj Vangala and Padmavathi Malladi, with Shakthikanth Karthik providing the musical score. Avinash Kolla takes on the role of production designer, ensuring a visually compelling narrative.

Discussing her character preparation, Trisha noted, "Playing a police officer for the first time was a major draw. Any character becomes an exciting challenge when you have a director with a clear vision. We did several readings and had extensive discussions about the body language and character sketch for Brinda. These preparations, including rehearsals and brainstorming sessions with the team, make a significant difference. Collaborating with the entire cast before shooting starts simplifies the process on set."

'Brinda', written and directed by Surya Manoj Vangala and produced by Ashish Kolla under Adding Advertising LLP, is set to stream on Sony LIV from August 2. The series will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, and Hindi, making it accessible to a wide audience.

Trisha Krishnan's choice to debut in the OTT space with 'Brinda' is driven by her passion for the script and the opportunity to explore a new character type. With a gripping storyline and a talented cast and crew, 'Brinda' is poised to captivate audiences and mark a significant milestone in Trisha's illustrious career.
