`There is no force on Earth more powerful than a mother's love`- and Shalini Sharma embodies this sentiment. A resilient woman who faces life's challenges with unwavering courage, she draws strength from her younger son, Chinmay. 18-year-old Chinmay Sharma has been struggling with health challenges like frequent seizures and autism, since birth, and Shalini, who has deep faith in the Almighty, has made her journey to the hot seat barefoot as part of a vow she undertook for her son. She aims to win substantial funds to ensure that Chinmay receives the support and care he deserves. Moved by Shalini's journey, host Amitabh Bachchan also extended his support to her, encouraging her to share her son's medical reports so that he could explore ways to facilitate the treatment her son requires.
Speaking about her journey to the hotseat, Shalini Sharma shared, `There are so many emotions running through me right now. For 16 years, I've been a devoted KBC viewer, and being on the show has been my dream. KBC Play Along reignited my hopes and determination to secure a better future for my beloved Chinmay and our family. I came here with a goal to win enough money to support my son's treatment. I believe it's my duty as a mother to do everything I can for my son, and I will continue to do so. Being on KBC has helped strengthen my resolve but this victory is not just mine; it's for my 'jigar ka tukdas', my two wonderful children, Chinmay and Pranjal. I came to KBC barefoot as part of a vow and will remain barefoot until I return to Delhi and visit our temple. I'm deeply grateful for this opportunity; to me, KBC feels like a temple in itself.`
With her blend of intelligence, perseverance, and a deeply moving story of maternal love, Shalini is set to make an unforgettable impression on the show.
