Nagesh Kukunoor knows not how to compromise on his films and this became evident when he Did away with Ashwini Bhave shattering her dream of making a comeback.

The actress was unceremoniously dumped from Nagesh Kukunoor's forthcoming film Ashayein after a couple of scenes were shot since Nagesh realized after the shots that she wasn't apt for the roles eventhough Nagesh is known to mak non-actors act.

Ashwini was to play the role of a Christian nun in the filmhaving a couple of scenes with John Abraham. The decision was amicably taken citing the reason that things weren't going well with Ashwini, and that they would work in future.

The news is that Nagesh has already signed Prateeksha Lonkar, who has worked with Kukunoor in Iqbal and Dor, for the role.

Anyother director in Kukunoor's place would not have had the courage to take such a step but he did it because he didn't want to cheat himself as a filmmaker. Now that's what we call being in love with your calling!

'Marriage? Not now?!

Yet another rumour that has been making the rounds after the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya wedding is speculation about Salman Khan and girlfriend Katrina Kaif marriage, the latest being that the couple is planning on a Christmas wedding.

One unguarded comment by Salman's sister-in-law, anchor Malaika Khan Arora, added fuel to the fire when she said "We expect good things to happen to Salman bhai soon."

But Katrina Kaif insists that there is no wedding taking place at least in the near future. She has also begun to wonder who spreads these stories.

The lady says she is completely absorbed by work and family right now.
