Now, whatever made Gauri Tonk turn to acting for a career. With a strong passion, or rather obsession, for dance, the actress is making a comeback on television in Jhoome Jiya Re by Tony and Deeya Singh. She plays the role of a strict principal of a dance academy in the serial.

But Jhoome won't be Gauri's first dancing stint on screen. Not many know that she has also played a bar dancer in a yet-unreleased Marathi film, titled Chhavi. However, the actress doesn't know why the thriller has not been released yet.
