Amar Upadhyay may not have had a single hit as yet. But the actor who hit the headlines as Mihir in the Ektaa Kapoor soap Kyonkii... Saas Bhhi Kabhi Bahu Thhi has been making news for all kinds of wrong reasons after he decided to join films. More than one month ago, Amar fell out with JP Dutta, the director of LOC Kargil - Border II. In Dutta`s multi-starrer featuring virtually every second actor from Bollywood, he was supposed to play a role and shoot during the first schedule of the film. But Amar ditched Dutta, stating that he was unwell while there were stories that he was shooting for Raman Kumar`s film elsewhere.
Dutta got furious, and that led to the actor`s exit from the movie. The matter was also taken up by the Indian Producer`s Forum, and Amar managed to earn a bad name for himself before he knew. But all seems to be under control now, because the actor is back in the film and will be shooting during the film`s next schedule very soon.
Amar, we hear, is very apologetic about the whole thing. He should not have ditched Dutta although he was somewhat unwell, we are told he feels. Dutta, on the other hand, has been the quintessential nice man by agreeing to take him back in the movie which might mean a lot to Amar`s career in the long run. How good or bad an actor he is will be showcased in the movie which has everybody right from Ajay Devgan to Manoj Bajpai. For the guy, this one shall be a huge challenge as he attempts to make his presence felt on the big screen.
