It was a room full of women who have been inspirational and instrumental in changing the dynamics of women in Indian Cinema. Celebrities like Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu, Sanjana Sanghi, Laapata Ladies fame Nitanshi Goel, Actor Influencer Kusha Kapila, Writer and Comedian Kusha Kapila, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Amruta Subhash, Rupali Ganguly, Tahira Kashyap, Harleen Sethi, Rasika Duggal, Anupriya Goenka and many more had attended the bash. Directors Alankrata Srivastava, Nitya Mehra, Nupur Asthana, Ashima Chibbar, Sheetal Menon also attended the bash.
Talking about the celebration and her thoughts on empowering women, Kanika said," I do strongly feel that women can create magic when they come together and this event was a celebration of each women and their success. When people tell me I have come a long way I always credit the women who lent me the shoulder and support I needed the most and thats why I have been able to have this fantastic journey. So now I want to be that shoulder for the women who needs it the most."
Co host of the evening Smriti Kiran said, " Apart from telling stories, it is my passion to bring creators together especially women. Kanika and I collaborated to host this very special evening with the sole agenda of celebrating collective milestones and making incredible women working in the industry meet each other. Kanika Dhillon is all geared up to release her maiden project Do Patti under her production banner Kathha Pictures in association with Kriti Sanon's Blue Butterfly Films. Kanika also has announced her next titled Gandhari with Taapsee Pannu which is a revenge drama. Do patti stars Kajol, Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles and streams on Netflix exclusively on 25th October 2024.
