Vidya, then, was not sure whether she would be able to enter the film industry. At one point of time she actually thought she was ugly and jinxed especially after she was dropped from her first two South Indian films for undisclosed reasons and on the grounds of non-performance from the third.
She had stopped looking in the mirror was very low on self-confidence. The jinx was finally broken with Euphoria's Kabhi aana tu meri gali and since then the life has come a full circle for Vidya.
