The industry is abuzz with stories of macho hero Suneel Shetty suddenly going out of his way to befriend all and sundry. Not that he had a problem with any of his producers or co actors. But then he wasn`t particularly the affable and easygoing.

So why is he calling up people he has never worked with or known remotely? The natural corollary to such unexpected phone calls would be to believe that Suneel has turned a producer and must be in dire need of people`s support. But prodding the actor a bit more revealed his strong business acumen — his business venture Popcorn Entertainment Company is going to be his "butter" while he could earn his "bread" from films and come June, when all the overworked stars desperately need a break, Suneel could cash in on their free time without bothering to reshuffle their dates and organize concerts in the cool climes of Europe and America.

Must hand it down to this Mangalorean actor though. From Shilpa, Raveena, Aishwarya Rai, Karisma to Amisha, Preity, Urmila among females and Akshay kumar, Salman, Jackie Shroff to Aftab, Saif and Fardeen Khan — all have been roped in to do exclusive shows. And about showdowns and ego hassles, he says with pride, " I have got it worked out so well, even have signed contracts, to avoid any such ugly clash." How about your own ego trip Suneel? Why was stage shows current queen, Sonali Bendre, left out of the tour?
