Banita Sandhu, known for her impactful performances in October and Sardar Udham, has made Mumbai her base to dedicate herself fully to her Bollywood career. 'India feels like home to me,' Banita says. 'The love and encouragement I've received here have been incredible, and moving to Mumbai was a natural step. It's the perfect place for me to grow as an artist and immerse myself in the industry I'm so passionate about.'

Since her debut in 2018, Banita has earned a reputation for her thoughtful approach to choosing roles. She seeks out projects that challenge her and allow her to explore her versatility as an actor. 'I believe in constantly pushing my boundaries. Each role I take teaches me something new, and I'm always excited to try different stories, whether in commercial films or deeply nuanced cinema,' she shares.

Banita is especially inspired by the evolving landscape of Bollywood. 'This is such an exciting time for women in the industry,' she reflects. 'There are so many compelling, multi-dimensional roles being written, and it's amazing to see women leading these stories both on and off the screen.'

As Banita continues to navigate her career in Bollywood, she is also mindful of the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. 'Routine is really important to me. I travel so much with work that it's the only way to stay grounded. Since being in India, I've also been delving deeper into meditation ' particularly at Akiko, run by my friend Akshat Rajan. That's really helped me to transition into this next phase of my life,' she shares.
