Anticipation Builds for 'Loveyapa'
Since the release of the title track and trailer, fans have been eagerly awaiting Loveyapa, which is scheduled to hit theaters on February 7, 2025. Now, the makers are all set to heighten the excitement with the release of a new song, Rehna Kol. Featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, the song also includes a special appearance by Aamir Khan.
Aamir Khan Joins 'Rehna Kol'
If industry sources are to be believed, renowned choreographer Farah Khan played a pivotal role in getting Aamir Khan to feature in the track. A source revealed, “Farah Khan, who is choreographing 'Rehna Kol' for Loveyapa, managed to bring in Aamir Khan for a special cameo. His glimpse will be seen towards the end of the song.” The much-awaited track is set to release on January 16, 2023.
About 'Loveyapa'
Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa is jointly produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Radhika Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, Eijaz Khan, Raveena Ravi, Adnan Siddiqui, and Swati Verma in pivotal roles.
The storyline revolves around a young couple who, after exchanging their mobile phones, uncover harsh truths about each other, putting their relationship to the ultimate test. The film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Love Today, which originally starred Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana in the lead roles.
Debut of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor
Loveyapa marks Junaid Khan’s theatrical debut, as his previous film Maharaj premiered exclusively on Netflix. Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
With a captivating storyline, a stellar cast, and Aamir Khan’s special cameo, Loveyapa is poised to be a must-watch for Bollywood fans.
