The re-release of Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao's Sanam Teri Kasam has created history at the box office, completely dominating the weekend collections. The film has surpassed recent re-release of the films, and even leaving new releases behind in the numbers race.

The dynamic Writer-director duo Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao’s romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam, which was originally released in 2016, has recently made its way back to cinema halls. The audience is now showering the film with the love and appreciation it truly deserves, with social media flooding with emotional videos and positive reviews. The amazing response is also reflected in its box office numbers. In just two days of its re-release, the film has made history.

Sanam Teri Kasam Creates History

The film opened at Rs 4.25 crore on its first day (Friday) at the box office, followed by an impressive jump in numbers to Rs 5.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6 crore on Sunday. This took its opening weekend collection to Rs 15.75 crore, over 170% higher than its original lifetime earnings.

Sanam Teri Kasam not only outperformed new Bollywood releases but also stunned trade experts with its sold-out shows across several cinemas in the country. With Valentine’s Day weekend ahead, the film is expected to continue its strong run.

Sanam Teri Kasam, re-released on 7th February, is written and directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao. It features Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in the lead roles. The film is produced by Deepak Mukut, with music by Himesh Reshammiya.
