Comedian Samay Raina has come under scrutiny following YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia’s controversial remark on his show India’s Got Latent. While both Ranveer and Samay are facing legal trouble, the latter has now shared a cryptic social media post, seemingly addressing the ongoing chaos.

Samay Raina’s Cryptic Social Media Post

Raina’s post, visible only to his YouTube channel’s private subscribers, featured a red heart and a hug emoji—symbolizing love and peace. The post received over 7,000 likes at the time of reporting.

The Controversy Surrounding Ranveer Allahabadia

For the unversed, Ranveer Allahabadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, had earlier sparked outrage with a question posed to a young contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” The comment drew sharp criticism, leading to the intervention of the I&B Ministry and NHRC, following which the video was taken down from YouTube.

Samay Raina’s Response to the Backlash

In response to the controversy, Samay Raina took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

Samay Raina’s Emotional Live Performance

Recently, during a live gig in Canada, an emotional Raina addressed the controversy, concluding his show with the words: “Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon” (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).
