On the IIFA green carpet, Boney spoke candidly about his children—Janhvi, Khushi, Arjun, and Anshula Kapoor—and their careers. When asked if he had watched Khushi’s latest film, Nadaaniyan, he replied, “I’ve watched all of Khushi’s films—Archies, Loveyappa, and Nadaaniyan. I’m also planning a film with her after No Entry Mein Entry. It could very well be MOM 2.”
He added, “Khushi is trying to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Sridevi was a top star in every language she worked in. I hope both Khushi and Janhvi achieve the same level of perfection and success.”
Boney also shared updates on his upcoming project, No Entry Mein Entry, which stars Diljit Dosanjh, Arjun Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan. “The film will go on floors around July-August. We have a lot of leading ladies, so I can’t name just a few right now. Once everything is finalized, we’ll make an official announcement,” he said.
Addressing the long-standing rumors about a Sridevi biopic, Boney clarified, “I am not planning a biopic on Sridevi.” Sridevi, who passed away in 2018, remains one of Indian cinema’s most beloved icons.
Reflecting on his children’s careers, Boney expressed pride in their achievements. “Arjun has done a variety of roles, from comedy to villainous characters. I feel blessed to have such talented children. Anshula is also incredibly talented and doing great. It’s only me who’s still struggling, so wish me luck! I’ve been at it for 52 years and don’t think I’ve peaked yet,” he said with a smile.
Offering advice to his children, Boney said, “I always tell them, ‘Do what you do with your full heart. Be sincere, be honest, and give your best.’”
The IIFA 2025 Awards, hosted by Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan, saw dazzling performances by stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Amid the glitz and glamour, Boney Kapoor’s revelations about MOM 2 and his family’s journey added a heartfelt touch to the event, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more updates.
