Vipul Shah might take the director's seat left vacant by film-maker Rajkumar Santoshi for film London Dreams, with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in lead roles. Though Santoshi has decided not do the film, producer P. J. Singh seems to be really keen on carrying on. It was Salman who then approached Shah, director of Namaste London, to step in.

The film is the story of two childhood friends who struggle to become rock stars in London. However, Shah has not gone through the script yet, and he will decide to accept the offer only after going through it.

Hope the search for a director doesn't drag so long that Salman and Ajay too lose interest in the project.
