Revealing his first reaction to the series’ script, Gyanendra Tripathi shared, “The script was so compelling that I couldn’t put it down. Usually, I take breaks while reading, but this time, it was different. I remember sitting down with my co-actor and friend, Nitin Goel, intending to read just a couple of episodes, but we were so engrossed that we just couldn’t stop. The story was so immersive, and the characters carried such depth that I was immediately drawn to its world.” He further reflects on his journey bringing the character to life, adding, “Exploring the nuances of my character, deciphering the layers, and understanding the intricate dynamics of the narrative made the experience even more rewarding for me, as an actor.”
Gyanendra also got candid about hailing from a non-acting background and his passion for his craft, noting, “Coming from a background with no connections to the industry, pursuing this career was a leap of faith — a gamble in a way. I remember a teacher once asking if I was afraid, but for me, there was nothing to lose. Every part of this journey, from the struggles to the rejections, and even the long waiting periods, is something that I embrace wholeheartedly. I love what I do, and that passion makes every challenge worthwhile.”
