With Season 1 having raised the bar with outstanding performers, Remo is now looking for dancers who possess raw, underground energy and transform it with innovation, storytelling, and magnetic stage presence.

Reflecting on what sets Season 2 apart, Remo D’Souza, holding the judge’s hat since the launch season, shared, “This time, I’m really looking at originality and growth. Are they bringing something new to the table? Are they evolving with each performance? Last season, we saw a lot of technical excellence. This season, I want to see more personal stories, more creative risks, versatility, and dancers who aren’t afraid to break the mould. Also, consistency is key for me. It’s okay to stumble in Week 1, but how you bounce back is what matters the most. That hunger to improve, that’s what separates a good dancer from a great artist.”

Speaking about the ingredients of a standout performance, he further added, “A standout performance for me has layers, it’s not just about execution. I look for originality, connection, intent, and emotion. A clean routine is great, but I need to feel something. Whether it’s a chill down my spine or a sudden ‘wow’ that jolts me upright. If a dancer can make me forget I’m judging and just enjoy immerse me in the moment, they’ve nailed it.”
