Actor Kush Jotwani, currently enjoying the success of his recently released web series Knock Knock... Kaun Hai?, is all set to appear in Anurag Basu’s much-awaited film Metro... In Dino. The upcoming anthology, which explores the nuances of modern relationships in metropolitan cities, is slated for release on July 4, 2025.

Opening up about how he landed the role, Kush shared, “While shooting the first schedule of Dil Dosti Dilemma in Mumbai, I was informed about a Zoom meeting from Anurag Basu’s production house. They mentioned that Basu Sir wanted to connect with me regarding a role in the film. During our meeting, he asked me to meet him in person.”

Kush described their initial interaction as “crisp and to the point,” appreciating the clarity with which Basu Sir conveyed his vision.

“Sir explained the storyline and asked me to send in an audition tape.”

He continued, “While shooting the second schedule of Dil Dosti Dilemma in Bangalore, I received the audition script. I recorded my tape from the hotel room and sent it across immediately. On the last day of the schedule, just as I was leaving Bangalore, I got the callback — I had bagged the role! The shoot was scheduled to begin in the next four days.”

Kush Jotwani’s evolution — from the affable boy-next-door in Dil Dosti Dilemma to a pivotal character in a multi-starrer directed by the legendary Anurag Basu — marks a significant milestone in his career.
