The announcement video gives us the first glimpse of this grand collaboration, where Deepika is seen talking to Atlee, and then immediately going into full gear – donning gorgeous headgear, stepping onto the set in full costume, ready for battle. It’s now official: “The Queen Marches to Conquer.”
The film brings together four formidable creative forces: Allu Arjun, who won a National Award for “Pushpa”; Atlee, known for blockbusters like "Jawaan", "Theri", "Bigil" and "Mersal"; and Sun TV Network, one of India's most influential media conglomerates. Now with Deepika Padukone — one of the most powerful and defining stars of Indian cinema — playing the lead role in the project, the film's stature and importance has reached new heights.
Tentatively titled Project AA22 x A6, the film is set to be a cinematic milestone — bringing intense emotions, thrilling action, gorgeous visuals and a story deeply rooted in Indian culture to a global audience. The film is expected to begin production later this year, and more details on the cast, technical crew and release timeline will be shared soon.
Speaking on the collaboration, Atlee said, "Working with Deepika Padukone ma'am in Jawaan was incredible — her range, strength and grace shine through in every frame. She drives the story forward. Now that she and Allu Arjun sir are together, we are creating something that will be truly unforgettable — a filmmaker's dream."
Sun Pictures said, "With Deepika Padukone joining the project, the bar has been raised to new heights. She brings gravitas, star power and an unmatched presence that will leave a deep impact on the audience. With Atlee's vision, Allu Arjun's charismatic energy and Deepika's impressive talent, we are creating an iconic film for a global audience."
As Deepika Padukone steps onto the scene alongside Allu Arjun under Atlee's direction and Sun Pictures' grand vision, the film is set to break boundaries, set the screen on fire and leave a lasting legacy.
